I don’t know about you, but I am sick of reading worthless articles, that talk about side hustles”, and are nothing but complete scams or just articles about how to start a blog. For me, as a mom, I need some REAL ideas that will add to my income and not stress me out. So, I decided to put together a list that would help with those who are looking to add to their income, but don’t want the added stress and to make money now.
4 Side Hustles That Make Money Fast
For me, blogging is one of my main side hustles, but it is something that you have to work hard at, in order to see money from starting a blog.
YES, there can be quite a bit of money, in blogging, but it takes some bloggers a long time to achieve a regular income, after a lot of hard work.
Some people are looking to make some quick money, and do not want to wait up to a year, to see it.
Because of that reason, I am leaving blogging off of the list, below.
Below, is my list of “side hustles” that can get you cash in hand, almost immediately.
4 Low Stress Side Hustles To Make Money ASAP
1. Selling A Product That You Love
I really love makeup, so this would be an awesome way to generate an income for me. Right now, what has become popular are the Lipsense groups. But, makeup is not for everyone. Maybe Scentsy candle warmers or Young Living essential oils, is your thing. It really could be anything that you love to use. Also, the great part is that when you sign up to become a distributor with some of these companies, many of them will give you the wholesale price and possible freebies, when you place your orders.
2. Wait Tables
Ok, so this job can be a little stressful, at times, but the money you can make is insane!
I personally have several friends who work at a popular seafood restaurant and waited tables, during the summer ONLY, and brought in upwards of $45,000. Of course, this is not the norm, but if you play your cards right, you could be looking at making a decent income, on a weekly basis.
So, if you wanted to do this seasonally, this could be a perfect job to bring in extra income.
3. Make Money From Your Hobbies
For me, blogging is my hobby, so I definitely make money from it. But, there are things like photography, arts and craft, and maybe fitness. I know a person who loves to do the heat transfer crafts, like t-shirts and stuffed animals. She opens pre-sales up for holidays like Christmas, Valentines, and Easter and charges $15 dollars for a set and delivers them to the child’s school. They are adorable, so word of mouth travels quickly, and she makes a lot of money doing that, seasonally. Also, I a friend who hosts paint parties. She cuts out the wooden door hangers and women get together and paint. This activity has allowed her to pay off her debt, completely.
4. Pet/House Sitting
Funny thing, I use this service way more than I provide it, myself. I will pay my neighbor $250 for coming to feed and check on our dog/house, every time we leave to go on a trip.
This is an easy and enjoyable way to make extra money, especially if you love pets. Also, what a great way to teach your child responsibility and get them involved in the process.
I do recommend pet sitting or house sitting closer to where you live, so that it does not feel like you are completely uprooted from your own home.
If you are concerned about providing this service for people you don’t know, I do recommend put up a Facebook post and asking your friends if they need the service. I promise, especially during summer, you will have tons of friends who will need pet/house sitting.
The important thing, when looking for any “side hustle”, if to see if it is worth your time. If it is not, then your time would be more importantly spent doing to something that is valuable to you.
